Coro Polifonico Cremonese was founded by don Dante Caifa in 1968, then directed by M° H.Raúl Domínguez and since 2003 by the current director M° Federico Mantovani.

The Choir performs and diffuses sacred polyphony with special attention also to composers born in Cremona or linked with this town: Marc'Antonio Ingegneri, Claudio Monteverdi

Its repertoire consists of great works by important authors such as Bach, Brahms, Dvořák, Fauré, Duruflé, Haydn, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Perosi, Ponchielli, Puccini, Rossini, Schubert, Vivaldi.

Since its foundation, the Choir has taken part in several national and international festivals and music events.

What makes the Choir’s activity interesting and peculiar is the fact that Coro Polifonico Cremonese is directed by a musician and composer, whose great works for soloists, chorus and orchestra with texts produced by him have been performed on various occasions.
